I'm currently in the middle of my latest DIY project & am waiting on some supplies that I had to order, so in the meantime...

Try this embellished collar!  This one is definitely on my to-do list.

I just need to round up some supplies of my own.

Such a cute little spot, easy to get a seat on a Monday afternoon, 

but if you go on a weekend, expect to wait as it is very small.

a new twist on the scotch egg. smoked salmon with dill, 

parsley and lemon around a hard-boiled egg coated in 

breadcrumbs and sesame seeds and deep-fried.

served with 7-grain toast and house salad.

Can't find it online for the life of me but it should still be available in stores.

The shirt itself is very sheer, so you you'll need a black camisole, 

unless you don't mind a little see-through action. :)

Saw this online & just had to share it. Such a wonderful idea.

Obviously you can get a little crazy & use whatever colors you want! 

I'm thinking Bazooka Joe pink. 

Pretty soon everything I own is going to be that color.

All you need are your business cards, spray paint & something heavy. super easy & genius. 

DIY. mason jar chandelier. part 2.

After 2 months it's finally done! 

Unfortunately this project took on a life of it's own...

supplies were bought, then better supplies were bought...

it was wired... then re-wired with better wire...

anyway, there is no step by step for this guy.

But if you know a thing or 2 about electrical work, 

then check on this tutorial from Kara Paslay Designs & you should be able to figure it out...

basic supplies for this chandelier:

4 small blue mason jars (vintage)

4 small mason jars (whole foods)

5 lage blue mason jars (vintage)

1 collapsible wire basket from from CB2.

plus all of the electrical supplies, wiring, bulbs etc. 

experimenting with christmas lights. I think it's a go.

DIY. chanel button earrings.

Designer buttons turned into earrings!

1. Spray paint your buttons & let them dry.

2. Use nail polish remover to remove all paint except for the crevices.

(it will happen naturally) 

3. Superglue on earring posts.

(i found mine at Michael's - $3.00 for 20)

When placing the posts, glue them towards the top, 

if it's centered the logo will have the opportunity to spin around. 

If it's at the top, it will stay put after you put them on.

4. Let them dry, add your own backings & you're done!!!

try downloading some of these super cute valentines day templates from etsy!

After you purchase & download the files...

All you have to do is drop your own photo in, edit the text and get them printed!

(oh, and make sure you have photoshop)
