My purpose for blogging about this today is because I recently decided to put my hot head extensions back in.  Giving me amazing, beautiful & thick hair.  They look flawless 99% of the time, but the downside is that you can see the tape from the pieces if I wear my hair in a high pony tail.  So it's a hair style with purpose for me.  I'll spare you a picture, it's really not THAT bad, but no one wants to be the girl who has tracks you can see.

Use a detail brush from any other color you have

(just clean it first with remover) & paint short random strokes 

to create a semi woven look.

Materials:

1 cream/neutral sweater

(uniqlo $29.90)

A solid assortment of laces that color match

(if you can find eyelash scalloped lace,

you'll be in good shape)

The thinner and light weight the lace, the better.

if it starts to get bulky, it will weigh down the sweater

and be less then flattering.  I didn't use scalloped lace & 

had to do some tailoring so it was fitted & flattering.

Scissors, a nice solid spool of thread, pins & needles

I went to MJ Trimmings for the best selection, so I didn't go cheap.

I spent around $50, but got enough lace to make 2.

Lay out all of your laces and map out your game plan.

Be sure to start sewing from the bottom layer up.

Quick tack stitches are all you need.  

You'll be drycleaning it anway, but you 

can always add more stitching at the end.

I ended up taking mine in with my sewing machine because I 

wanted it to be fitted and not loose. The weight of the lace made it

a little bulky.  This slight alteration was all I needed.  If you do this, 

before you cut off the excess, make sure you do a double stitch

so it wont fray and come undone.

Came across this stunning necklace at Forever 21 this afternoon.

I have an affinity for crystal necklaces and this one is fantastic! 

It looks like it's much more expensive then it actually is.

Now I have like 17 sparkly necklaces.

Sparkling Chain Fringe Necklace

easy berry cobbler.

I tried to make mine the healthiest way possible.

4 tbsp. earth balance 

(organic buttery spread)

2 cups Bisquick

1 cup sugar

1 cup organic soy milk

1 package each of:

blueberries

strawberries

& raspberries

Heat oven to 375°

Melt butter separately & pour in the bottom of 9x13 inch pan.

Mix together Bisquick, sugar & milk

Pour over melted better.

Cut up fruit & spoon over.

Bake for 30 minutes are 375°

So easy and really good.

I might try to use less better & less sugar next time.

Just to see if it's still as good.
