afternoon tea & sympathy.

Such a cute little spot, easy to get a seat on a Monday afternoon, 
but if you go on a weekend, expect to wait as it is very small.

raspberry jam with a pot of tea

strawberry & apple crumble
with {not pictured} custard on the side

lunch special: smoked salmon & sesame scotch egg
a new twist on the scotch egg. smoked salmon with dill, 
parsley and lemon around a hard-boiled egg coated in 
breadcrumbs and sesame seeds and deep-fried.
served with 7-grain toast and house salad. 

bottom left: roasted brussel sprouts special

the cute little shop next door where you can buy all kinds of english goodies.
